Dr. Robert Rohm is a speaker, author and teacher who has spent more than 35 years helping people understand each other. He founded Personality Insights in Atlanta and has spoken to over 2 million people in live audiences in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.
It started with a daughter he couldn't figure out
Before he was a speaker, Robert Rohm was an educator. He served as a curriculum director and a school principal, and he earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Counseling from the University of North Texas.
Even with all that training, one of his own daughters had him confused. That sent him looking for a better way to understand people, and he found the DISC model of human behavior.
DISC goes back to the 1920s. Dr. Rohm's gift was making it simple and practical, something a busy parent or a brand-new manager could use the same day. That work became his book Positive Personality Profiles, and then Personality Insights, Inc.

Decades later, he's still teaching the same idea with the same grin. He's a father and grandfather, and he writes and speaks about families as often as he does about business.
